Tell us about the brand?


Chalk & Jagger was born with skinned knees and a leather jacket. Our range is inspired by the game of rugby and the nostalgic, worn-in, pre-loved feel of the memories it invokes - a sense of taking fashion from the touch line to the streets. 


We bring you shades of vintage memories and detailed emblems pieced together with golden thread detailing.


What was the inspiration behind the brand?


The thinking behind our brand was to create an apparel range that challenges the status quo and brings heart and spirit back into what we wear.



We wanted to do what we are passionate about and so we did just that, but we did it in style. Chalk & Jagger stays true to the cult classics of yesteryear and combines them with the fashion accents of current trends, making way for you to rock our vintage sports-wear spirit regardless of your fashion position

Max is somewhat of an enigma.&nbsp; A pixie that somehow skipped her way into an international model agency and began her journey as a Future Face with ICE Models.&nbsp; Photographer Pieter De Jager was inspired by this muse in his Kaleidoscopic editorial for L’Officiel.&nbsp; Future forward styling by Jelena Jablanovic and hair by Natasha Papadopoulos compliment the tone for this story.Gen Z is inexplicable and unapologetic.

Behind those brooding eyes and floppy curls, is a talented young man with a keen interest in graphic design, music and the pursuit of something more meaningful than a big Tik Tok following.Get to know a bit more about him in our Q&amp;A. Q: How did you get scouted by ICE Models? A: I submitted photos&nbsp;via&nbsp;the website along with my sister in 2020. We then received emails from ICE showing&nbsp;interest. I visited ICE Models Cape Town in 2021&nbsp;for the first time to discuss possibly working with them one day, but while I completed my schooling in the Eastern&nbsp;Cape I had to be patient.&nbsp;I moved to Cape Town in early 2023 and&nbsp;signed with ICE. So far I have had some really great shoots and am learning so much about the industry and myself. Q: Other than modelling, what other interests do you have? Q: How did you get scouted by ICE Models?



A: I submitted photos via the website along with my sister in 2020. We then received emails from ICE showing interest. I visited ICE Models Cape Town in 2021 for the first time to discuss possibly working with them one day, but while I completed my schooling in the Eastern Cape I had to be patient. I moved to Cape Town in early 2023 and signed with ICE. So far I have had some really great shoots and am learning so much about the industry and myself.



Q: Other than modelling, what other interests do you have?



A: My other interests include practicing mindfulness, I enjoy meditation, as well as gym and graphic design.  I study at the Red and Yellow Creative School of business.



Q: Favourite musician / band?



A: If I had to pick one favourite musician, it would probably be Fred Again, but I love so many different types of artists and music.



Q: Tell us something quirky about yourself?



A: I have quite an odd sense of humour and I find random things funny. There is definitely more to me than meets the eye.



Q: What is a dream campaign you would love to book one day?



A: My dream campaign would probably be to work with Nike, because I love their clothing, shoes and gear.
